Tuition & Costs

Tuition

International students could enjoy an affordable tuition fee but receive a high quality of education and environment. All fees shown are in New Taiwan Dollar (NTD). There are two semesters in a year, starting in February and September, respectively.

Basic Tuition Fee: 22,970
Credit Fee: 2,980 (per credit)

Note:

1. The student who extends his graduate study another year for only thesis (non-credit class) will only be charged with basic tuition fees.

2. The actual tuition and fees for each academic year will be announced and updated on the NTPU website.

Miscellaneous Fees

Computer Access Fee: 1,900 (per semester for the 1st year)
NTPU Student Insurance: 382 (per semester)
Cost of Living: 6,000 ~ 10,000 (per month)

Accommodation

The SHM Program provides on-campus accommodation. The university does not assist students with finding off-campus housing.

Dormitory Fee: 11,000 ~ 16,875 (per person per semester)
Additional charges include but not limited to electricity bill and internet fee. (The internet fee will be charged additionally during summer or winter vacation.)

Facilities

Dorm settings are clean and quiet. Students will be staying in a four-person room which providing each student a single bed, a closet, a desk and a chair, a shoe rack, plug-in internet access, shared air conditioner, a shower room, and a refrigerator. Also, there is a small balcony outside the room. Public facilities include kitchens and laundry rooms. Self-service laundry is available at each floor. The charges for laundry would be NT$10 for washer and NT$10 for dryer per use, and the spin-dryer is for free.
